After mapping with other software, CIS developed AgriMaps as an easy-to-use mapping program for use by farmers, agents and companies alike. While it has been geared toward farming and the crop insurance industry, AgriMaps can be used by others who simply need to produce geo-referenced maps. Use it to map tile lines and utilities!
Unlike other mapping programs, AgriMaps has no restrictive licensing agreement. You may use AgriMaps for any farmer, agency, or company...we don't dictate its use!

AgriMaps may be only part of your GPS
mapping solution. You may still need a means to collect data
via GPS. Our GPS data collection system of choice is a handheld
computer running HGIS® (Handheld Geographic Information System)
mapping software.
Use HGIS to map field boundaries, tile lines, grid soil samples, mark tile inlets, landmarks, or anything else you want precision coordinates for. GPS data from HGIS can be saved in multiple formats, such as mid/mif or shape files.
